HYPERLAB BASIC is a flexible, random-access, multiparametric robotic enological analyzer: it can autonomously perform all operations required by various manual analytical procedures. The sampling arm, controlled by a microprocessor, handles sample collection, dilution (if required by the method), and reagent collection. The sample and reagents are dispensed into a reaction cuvette where they remain at a constant, controlled temperature for the necessary time to fully develop the reaction.
The reaction product is read at the programmed wavelength, and the recorded absorbance is converted into concentration through appropriate calculation algorithms. During the process, the analyzer alternates the cycles of aspiration and dispensing with washing phases to eliminate any contamination between reagents and samples. At the end of the analytical process, each reaction cuvette goes through a cleaning station where a washing solution is dispensed and aspirated six times using six different devices. After drying, the cuvette undergoes a rigorous optical inspection before being made available for further analyses.

WORKING LISTS
Unlimited work lists can be used simultaneously. It is possible to add or remove tests, perform automatic retesting of failing tests and inspection of reaction kinetics per test.

CALIBRATIONS
Subtraction of reagent blank, 1 to 8 calibrators per test. Linear, non-linear regression with three data extrapolation models: cubic, polynomial, log-logit.

DATA PROCESSING
Possibility of recalculating results by correlating them with one or more samples of known titre. Display of the new regression line produced by the recalculation.

All analyses traceable to a spectrophotometric determination can be automated.
