Multiparametric analyzer Hyperlab Smart
Contact our expert for more informations.
HYPERLAB SMART is a compact and versatile multiparameter analyzer designed to perform in complete automation the enzymatic and colorimetric analyses necessary to control the winemaking processes and the quality of the wine itself.
Hyperlab Smart is an indispensable tool for the winemaker by allowing to reduce analysis time without sacrificing the sensitivity and accuracy of the result. The mechanical movements of the HYPERLAB SMART are driven by state-of-the-art stepper motors. Liquid flow is controlled by three peristaltic pumps that come into operation driven by software as well as all robotic handling of the system.
Benefits
-
Main analyses
Acetic Acid, Citric, Gluconic, Lactic, Malic, Pyruvic, Tartaric, Acetic Aldehyde, Anthocyanins, Alpha-Aminic Nitrogen, Ammoniacal Nitrogen, Calcium, Catechins, Iron, Glycerin, Glucose/Fructose, Magnesium, Total Polyphenols, Chlorides, Free and Total SO2, Copper, Potassium, etc.
-
Automation & reduced analysis time
In just a few seconds, the operator can place the samples in the tubes ( no sample preparation is required), start the desired analyses from the software, and once started the instrument will operate completely autonomously allowing the operator to carry on other analyses/tasks without having to worry about checking its operation.
-
COMPACT
HYPERLAB SMART is an ultra-compact system, the ideal solution where there is a small space A laptop PC is required to use it.
-
Reaction kinetics
After the reading has been taken, there is the possibility of graphically verifying what the reaction kinetics trend was to confirm that the entire process is working well to ensure the accuracy of the result.
-
No maintenance
Hyperlab SMART uses disposable reaction segments ( 4 of 24 positions = 96) for the enzymatic reaction therefore does not need the cuvette washing system and thus requires much less maintenance than models that are equipped with.
-
QUALITY AND ECONOMY
HYPERLAB automation ensures greater accuracy and precision of results with costs per analysis seven times lower than manual methodologies. Hyperlab minimizes reagent usage: in fact, it requires less than 300 microliters per single determination.

How it works
The work surface houses the reagent holder plate, the sample holder plate the reaction cuvettes, the high-precision sampling arm equipped with AISI 316 steel needle and a needle washing station. The single arm is positioned to accomplish all liquid sampling and dispensing functions. The wide vertical movement allows the use of sample tubes of different sizes. The arm rotates 360° beginning and ending the turn in the middle of the reagent dish. Connected to a PC, it is driven by dedicated software. During the analysis cycle, the needle passes over all reagent canisters, reaction cuvettes and sample tubes.
Preparation of the reaction product begins with withdrawal of the reagent to be used and the sample separated by an air gap, dispensing into the reaction cuvette, mixing, and photometric reading to assess color interference of the test sample.
In the reaction cuvette there is then dispensed second reagent, starter of the ration, as per the analytical method. The system, throughout the duration of the reaction takes photometric readings to check the correct development of reaction kinetics.
At the end of the time set by the method, the developed reaction product is read at the programmed wavelength and the recorded absorbance is transformed into concentration through appropriate computational algorithms.
During the execution of the process, the system intersperses the various cycles of aspiration and dispensing with suitable washing steps to eliminate any contamination between the various reagents and samples.
The reagent dish, sample dish, and reaction cell crown. The operator, from software has the choice of configuring the dish with the housing of 10 samples and 20 reagents or vice versa with 20 samples and 10 reagentl Accompanying the system are all the accessories to quickly change the configuration.
The sample dish is removable with the ability to accommodate 10 or 20 samples in 0.5 to 1.5 ml tubes or cups. Removability allows handling of multiple dishes pre-loaded with more samples. Standards and controls are placed in the same dish and handled as normal samples. The rotor positions the reaction cuvette to receive and incubate the programmed test. The reaction cuvettes are of a high optical quality material and allow 96 measurements to be taken before they are replaced. The dispensing needle accesses the cuvette through a slot that is in the rotor protective cover. During the succession of tests, the incubating reaction product is read every 29 seconds in the cuvette aligned with the optical clump, until the programmed incubation time expires, thus being able to subsequently view the kinetic trend of the reaction. Upon completion, the cuvette proceeds to the reaction product emptying station for later replacement. The software monitors cuvette insertion/emptying.
